Okay, this is my first journal entry here, so...yeah, hi.
I'm somewhat of a learning artist--I've always wanted to be able to draw, and I'm trying to learn more.
So, I therefore realize that my drawings aren't that great. Constructive criticism would be a definate help and heavily encouraged.

I'm pretty sure I won't cry--I think having a thick skin is kinda mandatory for life, let alone doing anything in the creative arts--but any constructive criticism, or anything that comes to mind--lay it out on me, I can take it.
...
But I think I'll go look for the box of tissues. Much like my inspiration for my screen-name, I like to be prepared for any eventuality.

The advice I heard and followed was to study the work of artists you admire, study anatomy and art principles, and then just practice. Always keep learning and trying new things. I also suggest working from reference: photographs, drawings you particularly like, things like that. Good luck! ^_^
